A small number of vendors with high-quality handmade merchandise will be selected to set up at this year’s Savage Mill Yuletide Market. The Market will be located inside a vacant store in our New Weave building, the main retail space at Savage Mill, and open on Saturdays and Sundays this holiday season. Examples of desired items include unique jewelry, pottery, objects made from natural products such as wood, handbags, handbound journals, crocheted and knitted items, home décor items, live wreaths, and works of art.

Entrance fee: $20/day, payable online upon acceptance. Vendors will have a space approx. 10′ wide x 6′ deep.

Note that priority will be given to vendors who will be here for multiple days to facilitate scheduling them with others (ex: every Sunday; two of the four weekends).

Terms and Conditions:

Artisan agrees to be set up in assigned location, staffed and ready for visitors for the duration of the Mill’s opening hours as listed above. Load-in and setup is one hour prior to opening; teardown is to occur by 7 pm.

Artisan will be provided a space approx. 10′ long x 5′ deep. Artisan must supply own professional-looking display and power. Artisan is provided a table approx. 6′ long and can add additional display stands within their space. The exact configuration is determined on the day of the event and dependent on the number of other artisans and space available.

The participation fee is $20/day, payable upon invoicing.

This year’s Yuletide Market is located within a vacant shop in the New Weave building, our primary retail space.

No open flame is permitted.

Artisan agrees to sell only the wares described in their application and is responsible for securing them. If selected for an entire weekend, Artisan may choose to leave part of their setup intact overnight Saturday-Sunday.

This agreement does not include a non-compete clause; ie, although we have selected a diverse array of artisans, some may market similar wares.

Savage Mill and Artisan will jointly promote Artisan’s participation.

Artisan shall indemnify, hold harmless and defend Landlord from and against any and all costs, expenses (including reasonable counsel fees), liabilities, losses, damages, suits, actions, fines, penalties, claims or demands of any kind and asserted by or on behalf of any person or governmental authority, arising out of or in any way connected with, and Landlord shall not be liable to Artisan on account of (i) any failure by Artisan to perform any of the agreements, terms, covenants or conditions of this Agreement required to be performed by Artisan, (ii) any failure by Artisan to comply with any statutes, ordinances, regulations or orders of any governmental authority, or (iii) any accident, death or personal injury, or damage to property, which shall occur in or about the Artisan’s location on the Property except the gross negligence and willful act of the Landlord, its employees or agents. Artisan shall also pay all costs, expenses and reasonable attorneys’ fees that may be incurred or paid by Landlord in enforcing the covenants and agreements of this Agreement.
