I love being a wedding photographer in DC and feel very fortunate that my grandparents and parents, were so active in photographing our lives and documenting all those precious moments for us. Growing up I didn’t get it, I can tell you there is more than one photo of me with a bored and anxious look on my face. I can still hear my dad, who has now passed, say “if you don’t sit still we will be here all day”. As an adult, I now get it. Not being able to talk with my dad everyday or ask for advice, I’m so thankful to have albums full of family photos to hold in my hands.
