Upcycled is offering a program in Savage Mill’s New Weave Commons (inside the New Weave building) to educate our youth about the effects of plastic and how recycling benefits our watershed. This event is designed for ages 8-14. Join them for a fun and creative Waste Warrior Workshop to learn all about plastic and how we can help! The focus will be on the plastic crisis and how it’s harming the planet. You’ll get to see how we can all make a big difference!
Then, we’ll get crafty! You’ll make your own terrarium, create cool upcycled jewelry, and work together to build a bottlecap mosaic. These activities will show you how we can turn trash into treasure and help the planet at the same time.
How long is the workshop?
Do I need to bring anything with me?
This workshop will be held in the New Weave Commons area of Savage Mill (the tiled area inside the Mill). Please enter from the Big Lot and come in the main entrance.
