Visit the new Kid’s Corner at the Family Game Store, where you’ll find an expanded collection of puzzles and games for young children. The Family Game Store continues to carry games for everyone, from beginners to experienced strategists.

Plus, try out new games or meet new friends at these Game Clubs:

Board Game Night: Saturdays 7 pm – midnight. Choose a game from our library or bring your own. Learn a new game or bring an old favorite!

Magic Night: Fridays 6 – 9 pm: Join us for Magic: The Gathering – Play one on one, or in a group. Meet other players and hone your skills against a variety of decks. See our calendar for non-sanctioned tournaments (call the store at 301-776-5980).

Strategy Gaming: 1st and 3rd Sundays, 12 noon – 6 pm: Come play some of the most interesting and challenging games around. Use our limited selection, or bring your own and find an opponent here.

CoreRageous Dance & Movement Spring Classes
Enrollment is being taken now for a full range of dance and fitness classes for children and adults. To see a full schedule, go to www.coredancemove.com or call 301-490-8898. CoreRageous studio is located on the lower level of the Cotton Shed Building.

Here is a sample of some new dance classes for adults (ages 17 and up):
Ballet :  The basic foundation and exercises of ballet including barre, center floor work, and traveling movement across the floor.  Learn how to maintain good body alignment to prevent injury and achieve a more graceful look to your movement.  All levels welcome.  
Mondays 6 – 7 pm
Street Jazz:  A high-energy, choreography-based form of dance combining hip-hop, jazz, and a touch of lyrical dance styles.  Music for this class consists of regular everyday radio listening music with a mix of tasteful hip-hop music.
Wednesdays 6 – 7 pm
Adult Tap Classes:  Create and learn rhythmic patterns on the floor almost like a Morse code by combining basic steps from tap dancing.  By the end of the session you will be well on your way to knowing how to keep a beat!  This class is challenging yet a lot of fun!
Tuesdays 7:30 – 8:30 pm
Adult Ballroom Classes:  Learn different styles of partner dances that originated in the western world, including waltz, tango, chacha, swing and more.
Thursday 8 – 9 pm

Try out your new steps at Open Ballroom Dance Night, every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month! Lesson begins at 7:15 pm, open dance from 8 – 10 pm. $5 per person!
